The Girls 2 Piece Premier National Championships and Qualifier for the 5 Piece Premier National Championships.
Age Groups
Under 9, Under 10, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Over 13.

Eligibility

Under 10, 11, 13, 15 and over 13 teams placed in the top 6 positions in the relevant age groups in the previous season’s 5 Piece Premier National Championships, with ‘relevance’ being determined according to the 5 Piece eligibility criteria, are not eligible to compete in the Girls 2 Piece Premier National Championships or the Girls 2 Piece Challenge Cup Championships.

Under 9 teams have no restrictions. All under 9 teams are eligible and may need to qualify if they wish to compete in the 5 Piece Premier National Championships. Qualification will be required if more than the allocated number of teams apply in the under 9 age group.

The Qualifier
When necessary, the Girls 2 Piece Premier National Championships becomes a 2 tier competition. It is a Championship in its own right, but is also used as a qualifying competition for the Girls 5 Piece Premier National Championships in March, if more than the allocated number of teams apply in a particular age group.

In the event of a tie in the 2 Piece Premier National Championships, where it may matter about placings when qualifying for the Girls 5 Piece Premier National Championships, the totals of the teams’ top 4 vault scores will be compared. In the case of this being tied then the decision will go on the totals of the top 3 vault scores and so on.
